Friday 24July (CD11) 8:30 am Ultrasound & Bloodwork. Tr!gger will be timed based on these results.

Friday 24July (CD11)  5pm Acupuncture

Insem #1 same night as tr!gger

Insem #2 12-18 hours post tr!gger

Insem #3 24-30 hours post tr!gger

My Plan

I saw the R E today. He’s not scared away by my BMI. He has prescribed cl 0 mid with monitoring and a tr!gger shot. Just what I wanted. He says I can start as soon as I’m ready. I’m on red alert and expect to bleed this weekend. He wants me to continue the acupuncture but stop taking the herbs. My acupuncturist told me that this may be the case and is OK with it.

The Plan is in Motion

The chromosomes are ordered. They will be arriving Monday. Tonight I will take my third dose of Cl 0 mid. I had a very good acu puncture session Monday and will have another next Monday. Hopefully all will go as planned and this time next week I’ll be sp3rmy.

We were planning on waiting until this summer to try but there was no way it would have been possible. I have a few upcoming trips for work and will be out of town every other week from Memorial Day until the middle of July. Timing around that schedule would be hell. I didn’t want to wait any later to try. If this cycle doesn’t work we won’t be trying again until the end of the summer. That is unless my cycles line up perfectly with when I will be home. All big ifs but at least I’m moving forward. I had always hoped to be a mother before I turned 30. That isn’t going to happen but maybe I can be pregnant before 30.

I have a job!

It took them 2 weeks to get back to me but I got the job! I start next Monday. The hourly rate is less but I will be hourly and they are working 6 days a week right now. That means two things: I’ll be getting overtime and I’ll have job security! With the overtime I’ll actually be making more than I was at my previous job.

I will be able to get health insurance for R. Still no word on their fer tility coverage. She’s been without health insurance for 2 years so she’s excited to go to the dentist.

The plan is to start TTC again in May. That way (big) IF  it actually works the first time (HAHA!) I will be employed for 12 months before the due date. We may start earlier if R decides she wants to try with her body again.
